Terms Of Use

for the provision of services within the framework of the “CyberLogiQ” project

1. Terms and Definitions

1.1. Offer means this proposal of the Service Provider addressed to an indefinite number of persons to enter into an agreement on the terms and conditions set forth below. 1.2. Acceptance of the Offer means the Customer’s full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this Agreement, expressed by payment for the services, submission of an application, registration, commencement of use of the services, or any other conclusive actions. 1.3. Service Provider means the “CyberLogiQ” project, which carries out activities related to the search, selection, and recommendation of mentors, as well as the organization of events within the framework of the project. 1.4. Customer means a legally capable individual who is a parent or other legal representative of a minor child and acts in the child’s best interests. 1.5. Project Participant (represented by the Customer) means the minor child in whose interests the Customer enters into this Agreement and to whom the services are provided. 1.6. Services means the totality of organizational, consulting, mentoring, and developmental activities provided remotely through telecommunications technologies and the Internet, as well as in person where separately agreed by the Parties.

2. Goals and Objectives of the “CyberLogiQ” Project

2.1. The Project is an open social initiative whose purpose is to develop the intellectual potential of society, as well as to foster logical, analytical, engineering, and mathematical thinking. 2.2. The objectives of the Project are:
  • to cultivate in Project Participants a sustained interest in intellectual and analytical activity;
  • to develop logical thinking, the ability to analyze problems, and the ability to find non-standard solutions;
  • to organize mentoring and developmental support for Project Participants.
2.3. Within the framework of the Project, conceptual and developmental approaches are applied based on the principles of independent problem-solving, visualization, logic, gradual increase in task complexity, and active involvement of Project Participants.

3. Subject Matter of the Agreement

3.1. At the Customer’s request, the Service Provider undertakes to search for, select, and recommend mentors, as well as to organize mentoring and developmental activities for the Project Participant, and the Customer undertakes to accept and pay for such services. 3.2. The Services shall be provided remotely through telecommunications technologies and the Internet, and may also be provided in person where the Parties have reached a corresponding agreement. 3.3. Events and mentoring sessions are introductory, developmental, and consultative in nature and do not imply an obligation to achieve any specific results. 3.4. The Parties confirm that the services under this Agreement do not constitute educational activity and do not require licensing under the laws of the Republic of Serbia.

4. Obligations of the Parties

4.1. The Service Provider undertakes to: 4.1.1. Organize activities aimed at developing the Project Participant’s interest, logical thinking, and analytical abilities. 4.1.2. Organize mentoring sessions in the quantity and scope determined by the Parties’ arrangements. 4.1.3. In the event of the Customer’s withdrawal prior to the second session, refund the full amount paid within 30 calendar days from receipt of a written request. 4.2. The Customer undertakes to: 4.2.1. Pay for the services in a timely manner. 4.2.2. Notify the Service Provider of any changes to contact details. 4.2.3. Notify the Service Provider of inability to participate no later than 48 hours before the start of the event. 4.2.4. Ensure the Project Participant’s attendance at the events. 4.2.5. Ensure compliance with the rules of conduct during the sessions. 4.2.6. Participate in discussions where there are complaints regarding the Project Participant’s behavior.

5. Payment Procedure

5.1. The period during which the services are provided shall be determined by the Parties’ arrangements. 5.2. The total number of events is 12. The schedule shall be determined by the Service Provider. 5.3. The cost per hour shall be determined by the Service Provider. 5.4. Payment shall be made in a single installment for 12 events. 5.5. Payment shall be made by transferring funds to the Service Provider’s bank account.

6. Liability of the Parties

6.1. The Service Provider shall not be liable for failure to meet the Customer’s subjective expectations. 6.2. The Service Provider shall have the right to refuse performance of the Agreement in the event of delayed payment. 6.3. The Service Provider shall have the right to refuse performance of the Agreement where the services cannot be provided due to the actions of the Project Participant.

7. Term of the Agreement

7.1. This Agreement shall enter into force upon acceptance and shall remain effective until the Parties have fully performed their obligations.

8. Termination of the Agreement

8.1. This Agreement may not be terminated unilaterally, except in cases provided for by applicable law and by this Agreement.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1. Video surveillance may be used in the premises where events are held for safety and quality control purposes. 9.2. The Customer consents to photo, audio, and video recording of events without identification of personal data. 9.3. The Customer shall not be present in the room during the events unless otherwise agreed. 9.4. Participants may work individually or in groups. 9.5. The Customer consents to the processing of personal data to the extent necessary for the performance of this Agreement. 9.6. In all other respects, the Parties shall be governed by the provisions of civil law. 9.7. This Agreement constitutes a public offer and shall remain in effect until revoked by the Service Provider.
